Puzzles on the skin of a tesseract
It goes beside your stars on the ranks. Anything you like — it is not an account and there is nothing to remember.
Played in a browser, this needs an account — it is the only place your progress can live. In the app it is optional.
Nothing is shared, and nothing is posted anywhere. The account exists so a cleared browser does not cost you the game.
Additional games in the cluster's numerical system.
What your lines are flown as. Every one handles the same — a ship is what it looks like and nothing more, so buying one never makes a level easier or harder.
Your progress lives on this device. It survives closing the game and updating it — it does not survive clearing your browser data, or a phone you no longer have. This is the copy that does.
Your recovery code. Write it down. We cannot look it up for you — we keep only a scrambled copy, so if it is lost, it is lost.
It works once. Whoever uses it gets this save and a new code, and this one stops working — including for you. Treat it as the save itself rather than as a password.
Nothing has been sent up yet. Saving gives you a code to write down.
Coming from another phone? Type its code here. This replaces what is on this device.
Stars lie scattered on the board, in front of the lines. Send a line through one and it is swept up — but your total only goes up once you win the level, so lose it and you keep none of them. Running into a blocker costs a star there and then. A hint costs 10, or you can watch an ad for one.
A level pays once. Going back to one you have already finished costs nothing and earns nothing.
Your stars live on this device. Bought ones cannot be given back to you by the shop — once spent, it forgets them — so if they matter, keep a copy.
The board is the skin of a tesseract — 24 square surfaces instead of a cube's six. Every arrow is a line lying on that skin, with a head at its front.
Every tap spends a move, whether it works or not, and running out loses the level. Early on there is slack for mistakes; higher up you get exactly one move per line.
Stars lie on the board in front of the lines. Send a line through one and it is swept up — but the total in the corner only moves when you win the level, so run out of moves and everything you gathered goes with it, while every blocker you ran into still costs. Each level pays the first time you finish it.
A line's body can curve around an edge onto a neighbouring square and keep going, so it may wander anywhere on the skin. Three squares meet at every edge of a tesseract — not two as on a cube — so at each edge a path has two ways on and may take either.
Opens every level, so any band can be reached without playing up to it.
